Problems
Our primary objective was to cater to diverse user preferences, balancing those seeking quick, concise interactions with those desiring a more in-depth exploration. We tested three different user experiences to determine which most effectively meets our users' needs.
Lack of trust: Users are skeptical of automated ratings and need to understand the rationale behind the scores.
Information overload: Scanning millions of reviews from diverse sources can easily overwhelm users.
Rigid list pages: The original list view didn't balance the needs of fast-scanners and deep-divers.
Low engagement: Users left the site after a single search instead of staying to fine-tune their choices.
